The stage is set for the 2024 IGNITE Business Competition, where the top five finalists, known as the “Live 5,” will compete for a $95,000 prize. The live finals will be held on October 10th at the Crest Theater in downtown Great Bend. • First Response Cleanup and Restoration: Owner: Austin, Taran and Teresa Smith. This family-owned business provides professional cleaning and restoration services throughout rural Kansas, prioritizing health and safety and providing deep cleanings that are safe for your family and pets.
• Proper Board and Picnic: Owner: Paxton Rein. Offering high-quality, aesthetically pleasing charcuterie boards, grazing tables, and pairing classes, Proper Boards and Picnics brings a unique food experience to Barton County and beyond.
• Lana Luna: Owner: Anna Hayson. Rana Luna specializes in party decorations and personalized gifts to help customers express their feelings and emotions on any occasion, from birthdays to weddings. Their commitment to connecting with their customers brings joy to every piece.
• Ruhe Rituals: Owner: Danielle Hunter. A holistic wellness brand offering mindful beauty rituals, skincare tips, and self-care products that invite customers into a community of rejuvenation and personal growth.
• Sundown AgriSupply LLC: Owner: Matthew Gerritzen. Sundown AgriSupply aims to help farmers transition to regenerative agriculture, offering research-backed products designed to improve sustainability and agricultural efficiency.
Finalists will present live in front of a panel of judges and will receive prizes of $50,000 for first place, $30,000 for second place, and $10,000 for third place. Additionally, the People’s Choice Award will be determined by text voting and will award $5,000 to the crowd favorite. People’s Choice voting begins October 10th at 6:30 p.m.
