(Washington, DC) – Akin is pleased to announce that Brian Sakara will join the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will be based in the company’s Washington, DC office. Mr. Sakala assumed the CFO role for the company and its 17 offices worldwide, and delivered record financial results in 2023, including sales of $1.369 billion, an increase of more than 11% from the previous year.
Mr Sakala, who has 20 years’ experience in accounting and finance, joins Aiken from Paul Hastings, who served as Managing Director and Head of Finance from 2023. He previously served as Director and Head of Global Accounting and Finance at Cooley for 12 years. For global operational and reporting activities in the accounting department.
