SCV Water is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA).
The award recognizes the agency’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the 2022/23 financial year.
“Fiscal responsibility and transparency are essential, especially for organizations serving the public,” said Rochelle Patterson, Chief Financial Management Officer at SCV Water. “SCV Water’s annual comprehensive financial report not only shares the agency’s financial health, but also demonstrates our commitment to accountability and responsible management of public resources.
The impartial panel found that SCV Water’s 2022/23 ACFR “demonstrates a constructive spirit of full disclosure that clearly tells the financial story and motivates potential users and user groups to read this document. The award program has been judged to meet the high standards of the award program, including: Report. “
The Certificate of Merit is the highest form of recognition in the field of government accounting and financial reporting, and winning this award represents a significant achievement by a government organization and its managers.
