TikTok’s parent company ByteDance plans to argue in a Washington, D.C., court that laws forcing Chinese companies to sell American assets are unconstitutional. The so-called “TikTok ban” states that ByteDance must sell TikTok in the United States by January 19th or it will be banned there.
