Most of the stock and futures exchanges we support charge fees for real-time data. Our paid plans do not cover these fees even if you have an active subscription.
Note: U.S. stock market data is real-time and provided by Cboe One. This data differs slightly from the major exchanges. If you want real-time data directly from NASDAQ, NYSE, or ARCA, you can add this data to your plan. Learn more about Cboe One data vs. NASDAQ/NYSE/ARCA here.
If you’re not sure which data subscription you need to purchase for a particular chart, there are two ways to find out:
Click on a market status on the chart and the associated subscriptions will appear in a dropdown. When you enter a ticker in the symbol search field, exchanges that list this particular instrument will appear next to the ticker.
There are several ways to purchase real-time data subscriptions.
First, if you see the message “Data is delayed” after clicking on the market status on the chart (example shown above), click on “Details”. A pop-up will then appear asking you to click (Purchase real-time data). Once completed, you will be redirected to the order window with the required package already selected. All you have to do is complete the payment.
Another way to subscribe to real-time data is through your user profile page. Open the (Account & Billing) tab, scroll down to Real-time Market Data, and click (Buy Now).
Finally, you can check all available data subscriptions at any time on this page and get the package you need.
